Have you ever felt like your confidence makes people uncomfortable? Like standing tall, speaking clearly, or simply existing fully is somehow threatening to others - especially other women?
I’ve been there. More times than I can count. Sometimes it’s a glance or a subtle reaction that makes you pause and question yourself: Did I say too much? Am I too much? And part of you wonders whether you should soften, shrink, or apologise - even when you know you’re just being yourself.
In this voice note, I talk about those moments - when confidence is misread and when authenticity feels risky. I unpack how I navigate being fully me without diminishing others and reflect on the tension between standing firm in who I am and holding empathy and respect for the people around me, especially women.
